Nakshathra Vanam (“Star or zodiac” forest) is an assemblage of 27 tree species which represent 27 birth stars as per the Malayalam calendar. As per the lore, a person planting and caring for his birth tree will get prosperity. In our park we have planted 27 tree species which represents the 27 birth stars.
Imagine the value of planting our birth-trees and it's subsequent care by each one of us.
Yup, our action will contribute to create a big "green umbrella". This umbrella that we create will also mitigate the effect of climate change.
